Throughout the month of April, PCR will be hosting our 3rd annual #PCR10kChallenge campaign. PCR student-athletes, coaches, volunteers, and board members will join together with a goal of rowing, erging, or running 5,000,000 meters and engaging 500 participants in the challenge. Every dollar raised will support PCR’s high-dosage sport-based youth development programs that work to empower students in the Philadelphia School District to reach their highest potential.
PCR is honored to present the 2020 John & Toby Hogan PCR Champion Award to Jasper Liu! This award is presented annually to an outstanding individual to honor the impact of their service and commitment to the PCR mission. Jasper is a PCR volunteer and an elite rower out of Vesper Boat Club. Since 2017, Jasper has shown an unwavering commitment to our program. Thank you Jasper for ALL you for our program!
To keep our athletes and their families safe during the COVID-19 global pandemic, last year the bulk of our programming was moved online. We are in the process of planning our safe return to the water and will post details of that plan soon!
To keep our athletes and their families safe during the COVID-19 global pandemic, our middle school students participated in a HYBRID program last fall that included a mix of virtual and in-person, socially distant training. This spring we will return a small group of athletes to the water.
