PCR's Summer Learn to Row Camps are located at Lloyd Hall, #1 Boathouse Row. Student athletes in this program participate in both on and off the water rowing. They learn basic rowing technique, and receive a general introduction to fitness, environmental education, nutrition, and the sport of rowing. This program is free of charge, but enrollment is limited. Participants MUST be enrolled in a public or charter school in Philadelphia.
The middle school learn to row camp is one week long and we offer two sessions per summer. Dates for the Summer of 2019 have yet to be determined.
The high school learn to row camp is two weeks long and we offer two sessions per summer. Dates for the Summer of 2019 have yet to be determined.
Proof of swimming ability is required for participation in our summer programs. Students will need to swim one lap and tread water for one minute. Swim testing will be conducted in June. Exact dates have yet to be determined.
