Middle School Program Spring 2018
Middle School Spring Enrollment is OPEN until March 1st!

Philadelphia City Rowing teaches Philadelphia public and charter middle school students, who historically have not had access, the sport of rowing and the watershed areas.  We seek to empower these young people through the discipline, perseverance and teamwork that rowing instills.

High School team prepares for spring racing!

Through our highly structured sport-based youth development program, we improve the academic achievement, health outcomes, and personal development of our participants. Our rowing activities are based on Philadelphia's historic Boathouse Row, and student-athletes row from a boatyard dedicated solely to serving the community!

About PCR

Founded in 2010, Philadelphia City Rowing ("PCR") is a privately funded non-profit organization that empowers Philadelphia public and charter school students to reach their greatest potential. PCR’s programs are offered free of charge to public school students in grades 7-12. We believe that by providing nutrition education, mentoring, enrichment opportunities, environmental education, and academic support in conjunction with a highly structured athletic program, we can improve the academic achievement, health outcomes, and personal development of our participants.
