On June 9th the School District of Philadelphia held a virtual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020. We are happy to announce that all 18 PCR senior student-athletes earned their high school diploma and have plans to attend college in the fall! The class of 2020 is the 9th graduating class of Philadelphia City Rowing, marking 9 straight years that 100% of PCR seniors have graduated high school with plans to further their education or professional training.

Julianna Rogers (Drexel University - left) and Michaela Donnelly (Marietta College - right) will be competing for their schools’ NCAA varsity women’s rowing teams, while a number of our other graduates plan to walk on to their schools’ men’s varsity and club rowing teams.

To honor these 18 remarkable student-athletes and the contributions they’ve made to our program, our newest eight-person rowing shell will be named “Class of 2020.” The names of each student-athlete will be listed on the shell.
