Kids Running at summer camp

Enrollment for PCR's Summer Learn to Row Camp is CLOSED Until Further Notice.

PCR's Summer Learn to Row Camps are located at Lloyd Hall, #1 Boathouse Row. Student-athletes in this program participate in both on and off the water rowing. They learn basic rowing technique and receive a general introduction to fitness, environmental education, nutrition, and the sport of rowing. This program is free of charge, but enrollment is limited. Participants MUST be rising 7th through 12th graders and enrolled in a public or charter school in Philadelphia. All sessions are two weeks long and run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to noon.

Proof of swimming ability is required for participation in our summer programs. Students will need to swim two lengths of the pool and tread water for two minutes. Tentative dates for swim testing & lessons are Saturdays from 2-4 PM at the Temple Pool. Swim test and lesson dates are still to be announced.
