Kids Running at summer camp

Enrollment for PCR's Summer Learn to Row Camp is CLOSED! Acceptance notifications will be emailed on 5/26.

PCR's Summer Learn to Row Camps are located at Lloyd Hall, #1 Boathouse Row. Student-athletes in this program participate in both on and off the water rowing. They learn basic rowing technique and receive a general introduction to fitness, environmental education, nutrition, and the sport of rowing. This program is free of charge, but enrollment is limited. Participants MUST be rising 7th through 12th graders and enrolled in a public or charter school in Philadelphia. All sessions are two weeks long and run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Proof of swimming ability is requested for participation in our summer programs but not required. Students who cannot swim two lengths of the pool and tread water for two minutes will be asked to wear a life jacket when they are on the water. All abilities are welcome to join! Due to COVID-19 restrictions, swim test and lesson dates are still to be announced.
